1. Our Approach to Data

At BCPartners Tech, we architect systems where intelligence meets integrity. We take your privacy seriously, applying the same precision to data protection that we apply to our Data Lab engineering. By using or accessing our website or other services (“Services”) in any manner, you acknowledge that you accept the practices and policies outlined in this Privacy Policy, and you hereby consent that we will collect, use, and share your information in the following ways.

2. Scope of Policy

This Privacy Policy covers our treatment of personally identifiable information (“Personal Information”) that we gather when you are accessing or using our Services, but not to the practices of companies we don’t own or control, or people that we don’t manage. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 13. If you are under 13, please do not attempt to register for the Services or send any personal information about yourself to us. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. If you believe that a child under 13 may have provided us personal information, please contact us at privacy@bcpartnerstech.com.

3. Data Sovereignty & Collection

We receive and store information you knowingly provide (e.g., via contact forms). For users of our My Data In A Box platform, we emphasize Data Isolation: we do not cross-pollinate data between different organization environments. Your proprietary data remains your sovereign asset.

We may communicate with you if you’ve provided us the means to do so. For example, if you’ve given us your email address, we may send you promotional email offers on behalf of BCPartners Tech, or email you about your use of the Services. We may also receive a confirmation when you open an email from us to help improve our communications. To opt out, contact us at privacy@bcpartnerstech.com.

  • Identifiers: Name, email address, and professional affiliation.
  • Usage Data: Analytical data to improve The Foundry performance and user experience.
  • Communication: Confirmation of email opens to optimize our high-value briefings and updates.

4. Disclosure & Sharing

We do not rent or sell your Personal Information. Sharing only occurs in the following limited scenarios:

  • Service Providers: Partners who assist in our technical operations (e.g., mail management), bound by strict confidentiality obligations and with no right to use your data beyond what is necessary to assist us.
  • Business Transfers: In the event of an acquisition, merger, or change of control, Personal Information may be transferred as a business asset.
  • Legal Compliance: When required to comply with law or court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of BCPartners Tech, our employees, our users, or others.
  • Aggregate & De-identified Data: We may share aggregate usage information with partners; this data cannot identify you personally.

5. Policy Updates

We’re continually improving our Services, so we may need to change this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will alert you to changes by placing a notice on our website, by sending you an email, and/or by other means. If you use the Services after any changes have been posted, that means you agree to all of the changes.

6. Security Standards

We endeavor to protect your Personal Information using industry-standard technical safeguards. As practitioners of precision engineering, we recognize that no system is 100% impenetrable. We continuously evolve our architecture to mitigate hardware or software vulnerabilities. However, we cannot guarantee complete security against unauthorized entry or use.

7. Your Access & Choices

You can always opt not to disclose information to us, but keep in mind some information may be needed to take advantage of certain features. If you have questions about the information we have on file (including any request to delete, correct, or update that information), please contact us at privacy@bcpartnerstech.com.

You may be able to add, update, or delete information as explained above. When you update information, we may maintain a copy of the unrevised information in our records. Some data may remain in our records even if you request deletion. We may use aggregated, de-identified data derived from your Personal Information after you update or delete it, in a manner that does not identify you personally.

8. Regional Rights (California & International)

Under California Civil Code Sections 1798.83–1798.84, California residents may request a notice identifying the categories of Personal Information shared with affiliates and/or third parties for marketing purposes, including contact information for those entities.
